Up+Recycling

As an environmentally conscious creative community, the philosophy of the 825 Art Studios and our resident artists is to keep our carbon footprint low by using recycled materials and pre-owned tools and equipment and materials whenever possible.  When possible, we try to use sustainable products.   We also encourage use of eco friendly products such as low wattage lightbulbs.  We recycle almost everything we can (bottles, glass, plastic, paper, etc.).

We are are always on the lookout for tools, equipment and materials that are in good working condition that their previous owners no longer use and are planning to set curbside, dontate or would likely throw away.

Below is a list list of tools, equipment and materials we would gladly accept as a donation and arrange to pick up from your home or business.  If you have other art, crafts or building related materials not on our list, feel free to contact us.

Please note we are not a non-profit but your donation insures that items listed below will be used rather than wind up in a land fill and will be an immense help to young emerging artists who are working on developing and building up their art careers and businesses to the point where they can be fully self-supporting.

In some cases, we will purchase certain items if they are in exceptional condition or we may also trade for art and/or art services.
