Hello and Welcome

825 Art Studios in San Pedro, CA  is a 24/7 access art studio and artist co-op, collective and community offering affordable and secure indoor and outdoor studio space for serious, responsible, reliable and respectful working artists.

Our overall space is comprised of three converted single story industrial buildings, two stand alone small private studio spaces and a large outdoor work area as follows:

Building A:  Three private studio rooms + shared  office area, living room, full bath and kitchen

Building B:  Three private studio  rooms + shared kitchenette, shower/bath and toilet.

Building E:  Three private studio rooms + shared kitchenette area

Our studio facilities include shared access to  large courtyard (1/2 covered with canopy) work area with tables, storage shelves, power, lights, tools, slop sink and a washer and dryer.  Utilities are included.

To keeps the rents on our private art studio spaces rediculously low, we function as a community with a “sweat equity” policy.   In addition to each individual being responsible for their own needs and cleaning up after themselves, everyone pitches in to maintain the facilities and help with recycling, organizing and cleaning of the common shared areas.   We also work individually or together on special projects which we discuss and select at our monthly community meeting.

Private room studio spaces ranges from $300 – $500 USD per month with matching security deposit.

From time to time we may have shared outdoor work area studio space only available for $175-$200/month + $175-$200/deposit.

Please see our Available Studio Space page for additional info on upcoming openings.

The studios are easily accessible and parking is available on the street or for an additional fee, in a private secured lot.
